Annette Sym inspires Hinterland Business people.
On Tuesday 18th May, Annette Sym conducted her first ever Hinterland presentation to Maleny Commerce members and guests. What an inspiring evening! Annette shared her amazing story of how she turned her life around and became the highly successful business woman she is today. All this was achieved whilst still maintaining a healthy work life balance.
A huge thanks to House of Laurels who hosted the evening and served up a delicious menu from Annette’s soon to be released Symply Too Good to be True Book 6. Thanks also goes to the Zonta Club and The Range News for sponsoring the event.
Local businesses voice their opinion on Maleny Parking and Traffic Issues
Cr Jenny McKay, Andrew Powell MP and Jason Deller, Council’s Principal Stretegic Transposrt Plannng Officer, attended the June meeting to present to members and guests the council and government plans to address traffic congestion and parking issues in Maleny. Whilst no concrete plans had been made in regards to parking solution, we were advised that council is exploring all options and are eager to hear back from the local community. With this in mind Maleny Commerce will create a ‘Parking Working Group’ consisting of key stakeholders and businesses to generate ideas and solutions to present to council.
